Can't you just give me a price?
Everyone wants to “get to it”, but the results are never good. I started off just handing out quotes without understanding my client’s business. What I found was that it wasn’t in the best interest of my clients’ business to do that. Many times we built needless features or websites that didn’t move the needle for a business
I used to sell just websites. I prefer to do deep discovery now. I want to learn about your business and all its moving parts. I build website solutions that act more like an extension of the business I’m working with.
Contact me for a free strategy session (no obligations necessary), you keep the findings.

What is discovery?
Discovery is a series of meetings, each with a specific objective. Usually, 4 to 5 meetings take place however it can be more if the business is more complex in nature.
The meetings focus on:
- Getting to know you personally and explaining our process and coming to a mutual decision to commence Discovery.
- Exploring the potential of your business and understanding your processes.
- Gaining a deeper understanding of your customers, particularly who you want to attract and who to find them.
- Now comes the time to look at external factors such as your competition and the market you fit in. I look at what makes you different from both your perspective and the internet’s reality.
- Finally before drafting a solution we talk about strategy and tactics. I work with you to see what kind of opportunities exist in your market for various marketing and growth strategies.
Following these meetings, I then put together a draft solution that I present and discuss with you prior to penning the final proposal and going over the proposal with you.

Why are you asking me all these questions about my business? I just want a website.
I feel you. Many clients I’ve worked with before felt uncertain as to why I need to know about their business in order to build a website and even just to quote. They felt the same way and had the same question.
